Hi everyone!
It has been a long time since we have written the blog, we've been very busy!
Since our last blog in Lima, Peru, we headed of to Santiago all on our own and spent 4 days exploring the city. It was a nice place and much more like home compared to the other south American countries. There were plenty of big shopping malls etc.
From Santiago we started the second part of our trip and flew into Melbourne, Australia. It was a long trip and took us 24 hours to get there!
Melbourne was a nice place and we went off exploring the city. Whilst we were there it was the international comedy festival and we got the chance to go and see a few acts, including some english comedians who were pretty good.
We also went to the old Melbourne Gaol and saw the noose that Ned Kelly was hanged by.
Probably one of the most exciting things we did in Melbourne was to go on the Neighbours tour!!! On the tour we went to see the studios and also went to Ramsey street! It is much smaller than it looks on the TV. To top the tour off we met Susan Kennedy and had a photo with her!
From Melbourne we got an overnight bus to Sydney where we are now. So far we have been to see the opera house which is pretty impressive, we have been to the famous bondi beach and also took the ferry to Manly beach yesterday. Last night we also went to see a rugby match between the NSW Waratahs and the Auckland Blues which was good.
We'll try and be a bit more regular with the updates from now on and we'll try and get some pics up soon!
