Hi Folks!

We are writing from Lima the capital of Peru today!

We have had a few busy days, from Arequipa we went onto Nasca and took a small plane ride over the Nasca lines. We were well warned not to eat or drink anything and while Rob had no porblems I am very glad i took the advice as i felt very rough in the back of the plane!

The flight was well worth it though as the plane banked form right to left and circled the lines Rob got some really good photos which we´ll post up iin a few days.

From Nasca we went to a little sleepy sea side town near Pisco. on the drive there we saw lots of tiny temporary shelters where people are still staying after the earthquake here last year ruined their houses.

Yesterday morning we took a boat ride out to the Ballestas Islands where we saw thousands of birds, a few penguins and loads of sealions! The noise and smell was intense! Pics also to follow!

We spent last night in Lima on the last night of the tour. It is very sad to be leaving everyone that we have spent the last 45 dyas with. We have all become good friends and hope to keep in touch with a reunion in London in October.

We fly out to Chile tonight - on our own - V scary! We ahave got a few quiet days planned in Santiago so will hopefully get the chance to upload pics there.
