Spent the past 5 days here in Batu Ferringhi, Penang, Malaysia doing pretty much nothing except laying on the beach, dodging the rain storms and sleeping!!! Our guesthouse is literally on the beach, which is good, and very close to all the goings on. Not that there's much going on!!! There's just the one proper pub, which we went to on the first night. Didn't go back though as the cheeky b*****s (on top of the over-priced beer) charge you a service charge for each drink you buy!!!!! So we thought we'd pop to the local mini-mart and buy our own. Except we got rumbled!!!! But they didn't chuck us out, so all was not lost!!!! Off to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday for a few days before heading off to Thailand!!!
