Really enjoying Ho Chi Minh City, despite spending most of it feeling very ill!!!!!! Spent 2 days in bed with a stomach infection and I'm on anti-biotics, so no drinking for me!!!! Had a drop of the Snake Wine on Christmas eve though!!!! Not good!!!! The Vietnamese certainly pull the stops out for Christmas eve!!!! We were strolling down the street in our Santa beards and hats and got called over the street to join a 'party' in a travel agents!!!!! We were handed a beer and a pair of chopsticks each and invited to help ourselves!!!!!!!! It was also nice to see all the kids out chasing Santa down the street!!!!!! We actually found somewhere to eat Christmas dinner!!!! The soup and turkey was good, but the rest was iffy!!!! Stuffing like bread dough, a mouthfull of veg in some kind of sauce and salad?????!!!!!! Didn't get any Christmas pud either!!!! Anyway, off to Perth tomorrow for new year!!!!
