Having a great time in this mad, mad, mad place where car horns are used more frequently than indicators!!!! Seen some stunning sights so far as well as some pretty sobering ones. If Rich (our host) had not been here to meet us at the airport and very kindly let us crash at his appartment, I think we'd be extremely freaked out by Delhi. It's not a very easy first stop for a green traveller. He has helped us out no end and shown us round his locality - cheers mate!!!!! Had a proper Indian meal the other day in a top hotel just down the road from his appartment. Nothing at all like the ones you get back home. Stepping into the hotel was like stepping into another world. Inside was so fragrant, clean and prestine. Outside was beggars, cows roaming across the roads, stray dogs people living in rubbish piles. And the smell was horrendous. Rich's driver took us to the Red Fort in Old Delhi yesterday. Stunning place. I'll post the photos on here soon once I find a PC with a USB port!!!!! Our mission for tonight is to find a bar so we can watch the England match!!!!!!!!! See you all soon
