Believe me this place looks as good as the photo does! Might be part of the reason we've ended up staying here for 8 days. After geting the ferry across from Koh Samui we headed to the north of the island to our accomadation. Which was an exclusive island called Koh Ma that can only be reached by boat unless the tide is out and there is a sand bank you can walk across to get to it.
It only has 8 bungalows on it and there are only ever 20 people on the island at one time. We spent the first four days just relaxing in our hammock, swimming around the island and eating! Quality! The people on the island were all nice and the woman who runs the resort organised a trip for all of us to go to the Full Moon party which was at the other end of the island.
This was the biggest beach party you have ever seen with as many as 30,000 people dancing the night away whilst drinking whisky buckets! The music was amazing and we had a good laugh with the other people from the island.
We decided to stay at the north of the island for the rest of our time here but we moved off the island to cheaper accomadation. From here we hired a motorbike (sorry again mum!) and drove around the island. We even found time to go to a Wat and pray with a buddhist monk!
The next day we went Scuba diving (Thanks to Katie and Thomas for our xmas present!) and learnt the basics in a pool before doing a dive in the coral around Koh Ma. It was a bit unusual at first but once we got the hang of it we had a great time swiming with alll the fish.
The last day of our time here was spent relaxing on the beach before our ferry crossing and night bus to Bangkok. It really was paradise for a while but we're looking forward to going to Bangkok again to do the things we didnt do the first time we were there.
