Hello again,

After a freezing cold shower which was actually ok despite it only being 2am, we packed up our bags and got our complimentary taxi from our hotel to the airport at 4am for our flight to Hanoi, Vietnam.

When we arrived at the airport we were shocked to find that there was no open check in desks. We then had to wait around for an hour for the staff to arrive.

Once on the plane we found out that our bad luck with plane journeys had stuck again. The whole flight from London to Bangkok had considerable turbulance and the flight from Bangkok to Hanoi seemed to follow suit. As we got off the plane we were both expecting 30 degree heat with 99% humidity, but as we came into land there were huge amount of clouds. As we stepped out the terminal we realised how cold it was and no joke! it was on par with england.

Unfortunatly we got slightly hussled as when we arrived at our hotel in Hanoi, a person jumped in our taxi and said "we go to sister hotel" little did we know that this was not the case and after paying for 6 days worth of trips around the country we both realised it wasn't the hotel we had booked and paid for. To be fair after clearing a few things up with the con artist we have now have a week full of funpacked activities to look forward to.
