Monday 1st June Tonight we stayed at Mount Hope with a population of 7, four of whom are related. It has a pub and a community hall with toilets out the back. You can stay beside the pub with no power, but access to inside toilets and shower or at the community hall with power and outside public toilets and showers all free. We chose the community hall. Well better late than never. We left home today at about 11.30am so the plan to get to Goolgowi 279kms away along the Kidman Way was changed. We stopped in Jerrilderie for some lunch and then went on to Coleambally 155kms from Mulwala and not far from Griffith. Friday August 30th We had a flat, well and truly mangled, tyre on the caravan. Fortunately we were in a small town pulled up on a fairly level part of the road when Ross noticed the tyre. He changed it and we bought another spare as we passed through Mt Isa. We arrived in Kununurra on Sunday. It is very hot here 37c today Wednesday. Kununurra's claim to fame is the Ord River Scheme and Lake Argyle.
