OK, well Penang... the hotel was ok, i couldnt work the air conditioning at first, but soon got my room to feel like the Arctic, oh its a hard life wih no room mate (until u get given a double bed haha)....ok, well Penang, despite having former colonial history (it was colonised by non-Malaysians and not given back even tho it was promised to be). it has history too because penang hill (which we climbed, sorry took a finicular ride up) when i was realy hungover, is a high point and a good type of elevated area to look down on your enemies....we stayted in penang for two nights, it had quite a lot of backpackers around but we were all too nakered on the friday night to go out (cos it was ladies night on the thurs and we got realy quite tipsy). the night was fun though, we met these two gay guys and were dancing with them for a while..but honestly, i was walking bk form the internet cafe once with rachel (this really sweet girl on the tour) and the streets have prossies, lady boys, i was in minld shock cause its like, why on earth would u want to dress up in complete lady gear if ur a man and prance round the streets?! anyway, we had a couple of good meals in cute little ethnic restuarants and i got my camera fixed (battery got lodged in :( ) so was welll releieved about that!!
