Ok so I think I jinxed myself! What did I do? Get on the wrong train that's what! Luckily some other passengers noticed my ticket and let me know I was heading to the wrong place. And the ticket man didn't say a thing! Now I'm on the right train, phew! Luzern To Interlaken. And what a train ride this is! Amazing! It's so quaint and picturesque here it's almost ridiculous, like it's not actually real! I think I've woken up in a different era, it's all so old looking. Even The people, all dressed up in Swiss outfits and some others in medieval garb! Where in time am I?
No this can't be real, the colour if the lakes up here! Aqua! I'm in a painting! Absolutely breathtaking!
So after mixing up the trains I finally make it up to Goldern and meet Jurg, Maria and their granddaughter Lya who is 6 years old. I tell you, if I stay here for too long I'll be getting a bit rounder! So spoilt! Ice cream, wine, chocolate, cheese, anything I want! They are too kind! It's a beautiful little holiday apartment right in the middle of the alps. The view from the lounge I could look at all day! I'm still feeling pretty awake considering I've barely slept since Thursday night. Lya and I even gave each other English/Swiss-German lessons!
