Well it's different than the Gypsies. What's this I hear about crap weather in Oz. Summer has finally arrrived here, just in time for the test match tomorrow. How's life in NZ? Are they still in mourning after the World Cup? Your Mum and Dad are here with us this evening, with Nanny and Grandad, enjoying a few days in Cornwall.
Sounds like Steve and To'neil are coming down in June. Perhaps we should open up a hotel. Open house!
Great to keep track of your travels. Keep the pics coming.
Your obviously having a great time. Look forward to hearing all about it. Good on you.

All those afternoons trying to prise you away from the television watching Neighbours, insisting you come and eat your tea - if I had ONLY just realised what a boring place it really was!!! It sounds as if Luton is livelier than Canberra -anyway glad to see Kev has not wilting to an eating disorder and look forward to more action packed videos of him surfing. On another note I though Australia was having huge drought - it seems to rain everywhere you go --look forward to NZ piccies
Apologies - not paying attention - ramsey street are already there - sorry xxx
Sally
Hello there!! Love your profile pic on facebook - eagerly awaiting these ramsey street pics - very exciting!! Hope it was tremendous! In the middle of my teaching placement at the moment - had a book thrown at me today - clearly not as good at this as I thought I was!! Didn't mean to baffle your mum with the arms in the sydney shots, but now don't have the heart to tell her it is just coincidence and not an impressive and obscure reference to a tarantino film or something!! Keep the blogs coming xxx PS - Less than Jake have been added to the bill on sat - will be amazing! xxxx
Philip
Only 17 photos of Canberra! Says it all really, doesn't it? I know I haven't been the most devoted student of Neighbours but I've seen it often enough and I didn't recognise ANYTHING. Good Luck in NZ. Did you know their basketball team are apparently called the Tall Blacks?
Rosa
You need to get better at spotting the food related photos - there are in fact 3, Pizza hut & Chinatown, and that's not counting the ones at Jordan's Seafood - better luck next time.
Janet
Well, it's feast or famine round here isn't it? Nothing for a week then this cornucopia of delights. I suppose Sydney was always going to be heavy on the photos - remember fellow blog readers that we still have San Francisco and New York to come.
A few interesting statistics. The number of times featured on today's photos:
Harbour Bridge: 30
Opera House: 31
Rosa: 32
Kev: 26
Other: 8 (all Sally)
Food: 1 - this is a worrying departure from normal photographic coverage. Are you starving? Have you developed eating disorders?
Videos of Kev surfing: 0 - V disappointing this - you realise you had become something of a cult Kev? And to let Bondi beach pass you by - - -
And please can SOMEONE/ ANYONE tell me hy when photographed outside the opera houseit is obligatory to pose with arms outstretched as if about to fly? I have seen Sally's photos too and they do it every time. Everyone I ask tells me they don't know and the three people who clearly do - Kev, Rosa and Sally- steadfastly refuse to answer me.
Love Mum x x

Before I start, can't believe Nick has just used a word like procrastinating....
Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Have you heard I'm following you to Brisbane - going last 2 weeks of May followed by a week in the Solomon Islands - so if you've got any hints on what to see, let me know. Loved the adventurous bits (Janet sent me the full version) glad you're safe and sound.
Lots of love Ali xxx

Hey,
The pictures look great, not sure about the camping on Frazer Island with your hippy mates tho! However, Kev's surfing attempt in 2ft deep water was totally rock 'n' roll! Whilst u were visiting the gabba, i was walking home from the 24hr library at 4am in the snow having finished an essay on Indian Society. See, ur not the only lucky ones. Keep the blog going, its a fantastic way of procrastinating!
