Hi Kev & Rosa,
Love the new pics - keep them coming!
I wasn't too sure about the ones with snakes wrapped around you. I'm not suprised Kev didn't look too happy. The koalas seemed much nicer.
Keep up the surfing Kev, you seem to be getting the hang of it.
Lots of love to you both.

Yes - here we are in very sunny Portugal, skulking in the internet access area whilst Rona and Chris sunbathe on the shelf. It is very hot. Last night we wathched the Arsenal v Liverpool match with Chris. We managed not to fall out and he put on a brave face about the result (1-1, in case you haven´t picked it up yet).

Have enjoyed my catch-up with your blog -- love the photos from the reef - Nicole is temporarily staying with us at 89 whilst 109 parents are in Portugal with Rona etc. I am beginning to think she feels it is compulsory to be mad to live in Reginald Street
Weather lovely here at present but I expect it is even better where you are.......
Diana
Hi Rosa a Kev,
I'm rellay pleased to see you getting some underwater vews- perhaps you can understand what Pete and I are going on about!.You are well out of it here, it has been snowing this weekend so there were no long walks for us either. Shame. Just Easter eggs and a bit of singing.

Dear Rosa
Enjoyed seeing all the pictures of you and Kevin (he said to include the -in!) having a good time with your friend Kaz. Isn't the world small? Just spent a weekend at Caro's and went up to see Uncle David in the Lakes. Thanks for the cards (Caro says where's hers???). Looking forward to seeing you for our anniversary in August. Safe journey.
Lots of love, Nain and Taid (via Ali's typing) xxx

Hi babes, we're all up in Manchster for Easter and missing you loads. Went up the highest building in the world - oh no, you did that - well in the north of England anyway, the Hilton Hotel, and had cocktails on the 23rd floor, great views of nothing much recognisable. Did I say we were missing you??? Luv Ali xx
Me now. Happy Easter. We've had a really lovely day, shopping at the Lowry Outlet village, followed by an excellent meze lunch in a Greek reataurant and then up the Hillton, as Ali says, for cocktails. In honour of your recent past, I had a Thai Martini - gin; lychees, coconut milk and green chilli. Delicious. We've just had dinner and a sing song of the tunes from 'Oliver'. Tomorrow morning Nicole and I are going to drive to Glyn Ceiriog to pick up Nain and Taid and bring them back for Easter luinch. Wish you were here, but then again, delighted you are doing such exciting things, and there will be lots more Easters.Love Mum x x
Having difficulty organising the sleeping arrangements as there are different numbers of people here every night. Joe wrecked plans yesterday by turning up a day early - nice to see him but hard to find another set of pillows and sleeping bags for him and Zoe. I love having everyone here though and just miss you two. Met the usual resistance to my proposals for long walks but did manage to get everyone up as far as the Didsbury yesterday for a pint or two. And today we walked over the bridge from the Lowrie Outlet Centre to the Imperial War Museum at least 5 minutes away. Ali fell over an exhibit and hurt her leg so that she cried and Joe was impressed that she seemed so deeply affected by the moving images of war.
why has everyone had a postcard but me??

Well how's the world treating you in Oz? weather suitable?- it sure ain't here. Saw snow three times today so very novel. Had martini on 23rd floor of swanky Hilton shingdig and haven't eaten nearly as many eggs as i thought i would by now. Nice to have central heating here in Manchester... off to Wales tomorrow.Keep safe and keep us posted.Lv Nicole.Ps-found a job so now bonafide non-bludger...

Your travelogues are great - who needs Bill Bryson?! Think that your Short History of Nearly Everything in south east Asia has been brilliant. Almost feel as if I have been there myself.
Look forward to reading your Wizard (accounts) of Oz!
Just to make you feel smug: snow is forecast for us Yorkshire Pommies this weekend!
