We got up early and headed for our boat to Koh Rong. We set sail just after 8AM and when we left the harbour the water started getting choppy. So we said our goodbyes to our friends in Bangkok and started to make our way to Cambodia. Luckily we had done some research the day before and discovered it would be quite a journey so we decided to break the trip up. We first got a bus to Trat which took about 6 hours. We found a nice cheap hotel and arranged a bus to take us to the boarder the following morning. There really isn't anything in Trat, it's just a pit stop for people going to Koh Chang or Cambodia...

After a crazy minibus ride we arrived in Bangkok. We were dropped off near the Kao San Road which was on the other side of town to where we were staying. From Ayutthaya we took the train to Pak Chong, a small town near the Khao Yai National Park. We had booked in to a guesthouse that organised tours in and around the park.
