From Nong Khai we caught a bus to Udon Thani to catch another bus to Phitsanulok. Once we arrived took a tuk tuk to a cheap hotel we found in our book. At first the rooms didn't seem as cheap as they were described. You cannot haggle at hotels in Thailand like you can in India. We politely asked if he had any cheaper rooms and he showed us the information for the singles rooms. It said "maximum of 2 people" so we thought we would try it out; it was only 250 baht,...

We said our goodbyes to the beach and headed to the ferry port in Koh Chang. We ended up going to a different ferry port this time and the journey to the main land was a lot quicker. We had to wait for an hour in the sweltering heat for our bus, we were so looking forward to getting onto it and having some air con!
