I guess when you are leaving the country you have lived in for near on 40 years, there is more than a few people to say Goodbye to. So this is the Farewell trip extension to Gosford where I grew up and my parents still live. A few great days sitting around home, playing scrabble, listening to Simon & Garfunkel, walking the dog and eating out.

If you are on the Central Coast go to La Chat Noir restaurant in Terrigal for fantastic French cuisine. Also the Edgewater @ The Entrance for gnocchi.

Then Pippa and I drove back to Sydney for lunch with my Grandmother. Norma is the loveliest lady and her ability to remember Birthdays is un-surpassed.

Less than 2 weeks now to kick off, by the way well done Socceroos over Japan, back in Canberra for a last hurrah
