Left the amazing SHV, 20 hours later we are in Bangkok, we planned to head straight to Phuket but that would have taken another 10 hours, so thought why not have a night out in this awesome city. We hit Khao San Road, love this place. A huge long street full of bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and most of all, rammed with backpackers.!! Time to have some Bangkok fun again :)
We stayed in a hostel which is owned by the guy that showed me around Bangkok last time I was here. We did some shopping and had Pad Thai for dinner. We hit some bars, and the rest is a bit of a blur if im honest. According to Dani, I left her with some people we met to go to out hostel. I end up coming back to the hostel 3 hours later by which point Dani is back and in bed. So not sure where I went, prob just got chatting to some random backpackers, I'm sure I had a great time though.
Next morning, I wake up to Dani spooning me, rather confused as someone is sleeping in her bed. After an absolute hilarious morning, and sharing our drunken stories from the night before with the other people in our room, one of the guys agrees to come to McDonalds with me to get my much needed chocolate milkshake. Both highly intoxicated, we end up at Maccies and Wet Wet Wet is playing quite loud on speakers outside, so there we are having a slow/salsa/not quite sure what it was dance much to the amusement of the security guards and passers by in the middle of Khao San Road.
After some shopping and more crazy antics, we jump on our night bus to Phuket, along with 4 very loud English lads carrying bottle of vodka. Luckily enough we were sat at the back and they were at the front of the bus. Managed to get a little sleep, but at the next stop, we're put on a mini bus with them at 6am, and they still have vodka. 6 hours and a hell of a lot of laughs later, we arrive in Phuket to collect Sami :)))
Bangkok I love you and cannot wait to be reunited once again.
