Travelled up to Chiang Rai, stopped off at a hot spring which was awesome but stank. Went to the White Temple, it was absolutely beautiful, the best temple I have seen so far. Then carried on up to the Golden Triangle. We got on a boat and went over to Laos for an hour, only went to a market and brought a nice outfit. Our hotel was beautiful, right on the edge of the river overlooking Laos in the background. And it was so hot in the morning so managed to get a bit of needed sunbathing in. Travelled back down to Chaing Rai city for the night, again stayed in a gorgeous hotel. Went for a few drinks and met some cool Thai people. Had the most amazing thunderstorm. Then back down to Chaing Mai for another night. Feels like my new home now and I'm gutted to be having to leave here
