Another wet day. Aghhhhhhhhh!!!!! We are so over the rain. We left the hotel after breakfast to find a park I had read about that was full of sculptures. We had the name of the park and the street name but no number. It wasn't listed by name under the park section of the GPS so we guessed a number but we couldn't find it. We found out during this morning's breakfast conversation that there was a museum about an hour's drive out of Toledo that has replicas of the buildings Abraham Lincoln first practised law in and the building Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb in. Today was fine all day!!!!! But, it was still windy and cold. After a very substantial breakfast provided by the 'innkeeper', we left to explore more of Toledo. We drove around the streets in the immediate vacinity first, looking at the houses. The man in the hotel told us there were over 200 homes that were over 100yrs old. They are lovely old mansions but most need some serious restoration work. There were several that were just abandoned. It was sad to see. ...

It has been absolutely freezing today. The wind in Holland was icy and it has stayed with us into Toledo, Ohio. It has also rained for most of the day.
