We left Sioux Falls around 10am and headed for the freeway. Yesterday, all we saw from Mitchell to Sioux Falls was corn fields. And that is all we saw again this morning - corn fields as far as the eye could see. Boring!!!!!!! Rob made an interesting observation - we haven't seen corn on any menus or had corn in any mixed vegie combo. I wonder what they do with all their corn??? We were on the road by 8am this morning as we had about 6.5hrs of driving time. We hadn't been on the freeway long when we started to see signs for Wall Drug. We left the hotel just before 8am this morning but had to melt the ice off the windscreen before we could go anywhere. We arrived at Mt Rushmore within 10mins.
