Another wet day. Aghhhhhhhhh!!!!! We are so over the rain.
We left the hotel after breakfast to find a park I had read about that was full of sculptures. We had the name of the park and the street name but no number. It wasn't listed by name under the park section of the GPS so we guessed a number but we couldn't find it. American roads can be very frustrating. The same road can be cut into parts separated by miles of freeway. We went back into town to the shopping centre next to the Hard Rock because Robyn wanted to look for some shoes for Teaghan. We left Cleveland shortly after.
It rained for the first 40mins and then started to clear the closer we got to Cincinnati. It was so nice to feel the sun again. We are staying at the Hilton right in downtown Cincinnati. Across the road is Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue. Perfect location!!!!
After checking in we walked across to road to Fountain Square which is a public area with a lovely fountain. That is where we are now as the Hilton doesn't have WiFi. We went to Tiffany as Rob had decided to buy a bangle she had a fake version of. I ended up buying a bracelet too.
We included Cincinnati because there is a very cool theme park not far away. We passed it on the way in and couldn't see much action. I have just googled it and found it is only open on weekends in October. But, there seems to be plenty of other stuff to occupy us tomorrow. Cincinnati seems to be the nicest Ohio city we have visited so far. And the forecast is for a warm sunny day.
Must go to dinner. I am starving!!!
