QF 78 arrived in Perth on time at 12.35am Monday morning. But we were not done yet. There wasn't a parking bay so we had to wait for a departure before arriving at the gate. Ah ... Perth; one of the most efficient airports in the world!
Finally arrived to be greeted by about 1,000 passengers in the arrivals hall; 4 flights had arrived just before us so the usual Perth customs, quarantine and immigration efficiency was on display for all to see.
Of course Aaron and I had a story to tell the quarantine inspectors so it was 2.30am when we walked through the doors - we were nearly the last to emerge. Joanne was there to greet us and we were on our way home.
What a fantastic time we had both had. The sights, memories and great times together will be cherished and looked back on with wonderful thoughts in the future.
It has been a fantastic experience with much thanks to Aaron, both for looking after me when I was freezing, and for sharing the times with me.
