Only got a little sleep. Kept trying to get comfortable although as I had a bulkhead seat which didn't recline it was going to be impossible.
Crew kept the cabin dim until 11am Perth time, then served breakfast.
We were going to be about 40 minutes early.
A lot of smoke haze on the descent with Rottnest Island, the coast and city hardly visible.
Immigration, quarantine and customs surprisingly quite efficient. Yellow Fever cards required for Africa and South America arrivals - for visits to all of Brazil, parts of Argentina and all of Africa. Joanne had misplaced hers so there was an interview and a form to fill out.
After sitting by themselves for 13 hours in Johannesberg in transit, our bags made it and we were through.
It has been a great 2 and a half weeks, but it was good to be home. A & J were there and we were on our way home.
