Just after midnight Johannesburg time. The South African Airways flight was nearly full. Staff friendly and good service. Drink after takeoff followed by a nice meal - chicken and rice, jam tart, some South African road kill, cracker biscuits, cheese spread, small chocolate and tea or coffee.

Probably got a few hours on and off during the night. Breakfast 1 hour out of JBO which made it rushed for the FAs on arrival - omelette, fruit salad, yoghurt, bread roll, tea or coffee. O.T. Tambo International Airport very modern with some great shopping and lots of aeroplanes to look at! Re-arranged seating for the Perth flight in 13 hours time. Walked, looked at shops, drank, ate, sat, walked .........
Took off from Johannesberg a little late. Joanne and I had two seats each but not enough room to really stretch out.
Into the night over the Indian Ocean heading for home.
