It was sad to leave Greenland yesterday after a wonderful experience in a very remote area. We are both still marveling at what we have done, the climatic conditions and the sheer challenge of the harsh environment.
The flight from Constable Point was un-eventful and we were soon back in at the Raddison Blue Saga Hotel in Reykjavik, had our first shower for 5 days, a nice meal at the restaurant and lots of laughs and talking about our adventure. An early night and a comfortable sleep. Was there a temptation to sleep on the floor, as we had done in Greenland? No way; the bed was too comfortable.
This morning an early breakfast and taxi to the airport. Our flight to Oslo ....
