Well happy hour sort of never really happened. . . I met up with Sue and then Dave a little later. . . We had some beers, listened to some music, played some pool and then made sure Sue got home safe before heading back down town. . . Now Dave had somehow got his finger infected several days earlier and after leaving it (like blokes do) it got worse. . . To the point at which the infection was running up his arm. Now then. . . . Not that it really matters but I failed to mention, in Sundays mess, I managed to obtain a Christmas tree, now rumour has it there is one missing from the front of a restaurant in Little Italy, however, I HONESTLY found it outside our apartment building. . . . ! No, really I did, next to the bins, looking lonely and need of a loving home. . . . So, it now stands proud in the corner of our room! Happy Days. . . . Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays....

Saturday was fun. . . . . Didn’t do much in the day as planned, other than trying to arrange what we are doing over Christmas (hopefully Skiing in Vermont). Also avoiding tourists (I feel like a local now, I hate tourists). We also avoid the busy spots at the weekend, as the people they call ‘Bridge and Tunnel’ come over into Manhattan, so you can imagine, it gets a little crazy?! I started Yoga. . . . Very good, really chills you out and helps...

So have had quite a chilled out week, as was intended, following on from wandering around the financial district. Failed to mention previously that we watched the movie ‘Borat’!
