Tuesday 2nd November

It was the morning after the party so everyone was very tired on the bus. We had to be on board at 9am so far too early.lol. We made our way to Franz Josef and on route we stopped at the bushman's centre.......a very eccentric and weird place.lol. basically we were greeted by a middle aged man wearing very very short shorts who explained to us how deers are hunted which involved jumping out of helicopters, using guns and net guns! Not the most pleasant things we have seen. lol.

After our interesting stop we made our way to Franz Josef which is beautiful town surrounded by mountains and home to one of the world's largest glaciers. When we arrived at the hostel we had time to chill and then me and Rob spent the afternoon in the hot pools across the road. These ranged in temperature from 36 to 40 degrees...they were so nice and relaxing! In the evening we had dinner in the bar before heading off to bed.
