Hello again, We are just back from our two week Gorilla's and Game Trek safari and have one night to scrub oursleves clean before we head off to Kili tomorrow. I don't think either of us really know what to expect over the next week but we will give it our best shot. The trip so far has been mixed to be honest. Driving from Nairobi to see the Gorillas is a long way to go and unfortunately our tour didn't offer a great deal in between. The group was good and we have had some fun but to make matters worse Kylie came down with a bug which was doing the rounds in the truck and missed the Gorillas completely. Pretty gutted but she has seen them before, although US300 is not exactly small change. (Debbie let Eric know we will be claiming!) We had a game drive this morning which was good fun - spotting Giraffe, Buffallo, Zebra + more but the lion's and leapords stayed away, which was a shame. So tonight it is just a question of writing this postcard which has almost taken two hours, getting some food and a good nights sleep before we put in the hard work to reach 5,800+ metres above sea level. And just think I could have been watching Watford lose to Ipswich 1-4 this afternoon. Happy days - hopefully we will get back to you again by this time next week to let you know how we got on.
