Hello all. Currently in Christchurch and it is suprisingly like England - possibly somewhere like Cambridge. The weather had been nice since we have arrived which is unusual as apparently this is their worst summer on record. Since arriving we have visited the museum and art gallery as well as the Botanic gardens and strolled along the Avon river. We have hired a car and bought a tent and leave Christchurch tomorrow to explore the south island. We are headed for Mt Cook first and then not sure where after that but definately to Queenstown for some adventure and to the glaciers. Will update asap. Xx
