Hi folks Thought i would give you an update on what has been going on in Oz. Xmas was ok. We spent the day on Cronulla beach in south sydney eating cold pizza and the weather was terrible. Never mind! We have been up to Newcastle to visit a friend Rob that we met in Nepal. We had dinner at his parents house which was really nice. Thank you Mr and Mrs Collins for that. We have also met up with Si and Helena (from Laos) and Andy and Paula (from Hong Kong) as well as our Irish friends which has been really nice. We spent NYE day at the blue mountains which was lovely and the evening by the harbour. What an atmosphere. The fireworks were great but not as good as National Chinese day in Hong Kong. We have also visited Manly beach today and been out on a boat on the harbour. We have not yet made it to Bondi!! But maybe tomorrow morning as we fly to NZ in the evening.
