Drove back from Hull to Yorkshire, to the Aviation museum this was an hours drive backwards from where we were, thanks to the earlier closure of the air museum the day before . We came here as it is the only place to see a Halifax bomber complete in the world this is the aircraft my Grandfather use to fly it was HUGE and delightful to see it done up in the 158 squadron colours and painted as the most famous of his planes Friday the 13th , seeing what those men went through was awful knowing that when they left on a mission they knew they had a 51% chance if not coming back !!!!! Much admiration what courage ... After a couple of hours here we set off to Wales it is a very pretty drive. I was tired and coming down with a head cold so Rob went and got fish and chips and brought them , they were delicious ok off to Ireland tomorrow morning.
