Woke up with BatuCave legs this morning. My poor legs are really aching from yesterdays climb. I get reminded every time i have to go up and down a kerb- especially as they are so high here. I reckon they thought it would be easier if they ever decide to resurface the road, as they won't have to keep putting new higher kerbs in. On the basis that they don’t seem to bother doing resurfacing very often here the kerbs should be sufficient for a good while yet....

Well we finally made it after 14 hours flying time interspersed with a 60 minute hike up and down Dubai airport during the transfer time, and a rather tasty pizza and chicken wrap in the Fig and Olive food emporium.
