Singapore Botanical gardens - Free, fun and a fantastic range of plants and flowers. The other amazing thing is that the trees all talk. Well obviously they don't but the insects in them do – the chicadas make that typical jungle noise – like a high pitched electricity buzz. Singapore zoo here we come. Two trains and a bus journey later we arrived at the entrance to the zoo. It took about an hour and a half from our hotel although the transitions between each link was seamless. Many of the animals at the zoo roam free which gives you a chance to spot them in their natural habitat. In many areas you walk through on boardwalks , camera poised for any movement in the trees or undergrowth. Whilst there are still some animals in enclosure...

Well here we are in Singapore on the last leg of our trip. We managed to fit all our belongings back in the two rucksacks and said goodbye to our Kuching hosts, to the multiple flash of ipads.
