Phew! Finally feeling better and in good timing too, Long weekend, means a getaway and we're heading to the Grampians in Halls Gap. Lovely little mountainous area, great hikes, and beautiful views. The pinnacle hike was Saturday and it was hike, we started great but there were some steep stretches. After we hit a little brewery in town for some food and drink. Sunday meant a hike to Mackenzie Falls and the Venus baths. We attempted to go to the cultural centre to the cafe there for some bush tucker! We had heard some good things about the place- so we placed our order and waited, checked out the gift shop- Lucas found a great didgeridoo, it'd been awhile at this point and no food, so we asked...well turns out she forgot to put our order in...seriously?!? Not sure what she thought we were doing sitting there, but ok. Needless to say Rob and Lucas now have a wonderful little tale that they repeat often...yikes.
