Monday 25 September 2006 - Nelson to Westport Made our way to Buller Gorge (quick stop at the longest swing bridge!) Then to go see the seals at Tauranga Bay. Millions of them, so cute. One big fat one posing for the camera! Stayed a night in Westport. Tuesday 26 September 2006 - Westport to Fox Glacier Set off, stopping at Punakiki to see the pancake rocks, rocks stacked like pancakes, sea crashing through the blowholes! Quick stop at Greymouth, then onto Hokitika to find some Jade (green stone) on the beach. Took our selection of rocks to the Jade Factory, unfortunatly we just had a load of rocks, no Jade! Failing, we made our way to Fox Glacier Town.
