From Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise. Walked along the beach and look through the markets.

Thursday 1 March 2007 - Quicksilver Surf Comp

Got the bus to the Gold Coast to watch the Quicksilver Surf Comp. Got there just in time to catch Kelly Slater in action. The number 1 did great although lost his board so had to come out to get another one - and had to come right passed us! Great afternoon watching the surf dudes!

Back to Surfers Paradise and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine sat outside the hostel.
