Hi one and all,

Well it has been a relaxing week for C and I, weather hasn't been great, 4 days of sunshine out of 8. Tempreture has dropped to 18-21 which is now cold to us sometimes and everyone else, hailstones, storms and fleece weather.

Last Friday we met up with my cousin Graham and his wife-to-be Belinda, their flat is nice and Graham's cooking skills surprised me as it was delicious - Thai curry. We had a few drinks and got the train (triple decker trains over here!) home.

Over the week we have sunbathed at Tamarama beach. As we relaxed and took in the sun some little kids threw water bombs from the cliffs above and got us all wet!!

We have wandered around Bondi Market stalls and our sight seeing has taken us to the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Botanic Gardens and the Rocks (Old Victorian shopping centre).

We have also took a stroll or a hike with these hills from Bondi to Coogee beach. The views were great from the cliff tops, but we still think Tamarama beach is nicer. On the way back my flipflop broke so I had to walk 1.5k in bare foot. We also got caught in a storm so got completely soaked a bit like our times in Brisbane!!!

We have booked our Xmas dinner at Darling Harbour in a roof top restaurant called Coast and also found our new years eve picnic spot to watch the fireworks at Bicentenial Park in Glebe, this should all be fun and Diane will be here on the 23rd Dec to join in. We are also going to the Boxing Day races at the Royal Randwick Racecourse where this year all International Visitors get in free with the ir passports - bargain!

It doesn't feel like Xmas just now but we are trying to get into the spirit so have bought a little xmas tree and stockings. We will buy some pressies too as we have found lots of shops on our travels around Sydney.

Other than that we will be going to Graham's birthday bash this Sunday and Surf lessons on Tuesday, also going to the Olympic Stadium and then soon it will be time for Diane to arrive and for us all to take in Xmas in Oz.

Hope the weather gets better as it has rained, rained and rained some more!!!
