July 6th and 7th Minneapolis, Keflavik Airport, Copenhagen

Got it the airport early ready to start our adventure. Unfortunately our adventure was delayed 2 and 1/2 hours because of a mechanical problem on the plane. The delay caused us to miss our connecting flight to Copenhagen. Icelandair originally rebooked us on a 4:10 PM flight (7 hours after we landed in Iceland!?!!), but after waiting in a service line for an hour and a 1/2 we got moved to the 1:00 PM flight. The bonus was that we got upgraded to Saga class and were permitted to hang out in the cool Saga lounge (free food and drinks, comfy chairs, great Icelandic views!). Saga class is like first class on the plane. We got free drinks and a gourmet meal (Caviar! Reindeer pate!). The upgrade almost made the delayed flight worth it.
Once on the ground we quickly got our luggage and made our way to the hotel in Copenhagen. After a little rest, we set out to find dinner. We walked around until we found a little pizza place with excellent pizza. We ate the pizza out on a square and then went back to the hotel and finally went to bed.
