We arrived at Scotty's in mission beach and it quickly became clear it was going to be a good night, there was a wicked group of people staying there and the place was really cool. It was set out like beach huts with a massive pool in the middle complete with a gladiator style log across it and noodles so you could battle until the end! So after a day of chilling by the pool, water polo and gladiator battles (Rich was quick to knock some little kid straight off!) preparations started for 'mint Mondays' night out! It was decided that all the boys had to get in the female spirit and dress up as pretty ladies...so with Rich and many other 6ft something guys dressed in dresses we all clambered into the minivan already a bag of goon lighter! The night started off with a free curry and it wasn't long before the limbo and dance off's started, we met an Irish girl called Maria who seemed pretty quiet....well that until she had some goon down her! Before everyone had even started she had her bum wobbling at some ridiculous pace and was taking on anyone brave enough to challenge her to a dance off HA! As for our roommate Damian, after trying his luck with every girl going in his lovely blue ball gown (Rich was wearing a matching one!) he gave up and let the goon take over! The rest of the night was a bit of a haze of limboing and 80's dance's to the old classics!
Unfortunately for us the next morning was an early one and by 8am we were on the greyhound heading for Airlie Beach feeling a little worse for wear....brill 9 hour trip eughhh!
