Our next stop was Agnes waters and the town of 1770. A scottish couple we met - Gemma and Euwen suggested a nice little place called cool bannanas so we all checked in and grabbed the body boards and headed for the beach! Rich had a very severe case of board rash so resorted to body surfing instead, whilst shelly managed to beach herself on every big wave she caught. After Gemma exposing herself to all and sundry when a big wave took her bikini top it was time to call it a day and head back to get ready for scooteroo's! These were modified 125cc scooters that had some awesome looking body work that made them look like harleys complete with the retro paint jobs! So after we'd all selected our personnel fav (Rich opting for a tacktful flame helmet and matching bike!) we all headed out into the town of 1770 for a tour around the local sites...after a 2 hour ride we all settled on the rocks by the front to watch the sun set over the sea and stuff ourselves on wedges before our ride home! By the time we returned to Agnes water we'd both decided that traveling across north america on a motorbike is an absolute must!....Altho it will be a toss up who has to break the news to sue or mary! The next day it was an early start to make it to the beach for our surf lesson!...within 20 mins rich felt like a pro flipping up onto his feet with every wave he caught...unfortunately he later lost the knack and did some spectacular bails into the sea! Shell was not quite so lucky with the beginners luck but persistance paid off as she did her best beach boys pose!
