Arrive in Airlie Beach (gateway to Whitsunday Islands) after 13 hr bus trip - with minimal sleep and crocked neck! Check into Magnums - massive hostel again set in tropical environment. Hit the beach - not the best beach ever but lots of palm trees. Go for a run round the resort, past awesome lagoon and around the coast, along boardwalk and up to marina. Few beers at hostel, early one as first nights sleep in a bed for 4 nights and Whitsundays 2m!
