Chilled morning - walk around Christchurch. Decide best option is to fly from C'Church - Wellington - as only slightly more expensive and far less hassle, also prevents another earlt start at stupid o'clock. Arrive in Wellington early evening - stay at BASE hostel - big chain across NZ - stayed there during 2nd C'Church trip! Drinks - BASE bar, Shooters, Jet & Hummingbird - nice places but v quiet as tues night!
