Day trip to Nimbin (1.5 hrs bus ride from Byron Bay) to visit the annual Mardi Grass Festival. Everyone talking about it so decide to go with Jon, James, Joey and Tristan. Crazy little town - stalls, arenas, reggae music, hemp museum, hemp bar - all sorts of crazy people there - something different for sure!
