2014-09-02 When in Rome do as the Romans do...??? I have used this expression often myself but... I think I refrain from using it from now on. Having been in Rome now for two days I had to deal with and observed others dealing with people at several different levels. I won't be doing as the Romans do as I would turn into a rude unhelpful person. Perhaps it is the harsh sounding language, I don’t know but this lot is not all that friendly towards foreigner...
