The email I received about the bike being ready had me off to an early start to cover the 450 km from Budapest back Liezen to collect the bike. I wanted to get some money from the bank, surprise... the banks close down between 12 and 2. In fact it looks like half the country closes for lunch. I think Austria. Switzerland and some parts of Southern Germany are the only places in the world I have ever come across this.
I remember that once I visited the Marklin museum in Goppingen, I had only been there for half an hour, suddenly all the lights went out and was asked to leave as they closed for lunch. Anyway by three pm I was on my way to the city of Klagenfurt, another 250 km ride.
Yesterday when I paid my bill at the excellent hostel, the guy behind the desk said:
After ze raaain, I hope zyou haf a nice day !
Well I did !

Rob Yeah Baby!!! In my recollection the best section ever I have come across world wide. That is; to ride with a motorbike, especially the cobblestones make it an adventure.
