After breakfast we headed out to the Bambo Train (we noticed that Bambo is spelt many different ways) theses are small low trolleys that run along a railway line but designed that if you meet someone coming the other way you can easily take the trolley off the tracks let the other pass then put it back on the tracks and continue your trip once it was passed. We took a trip out to a small village which had a brick factory which was recently closed because they had a flood and ruined all the bricks being made but everything was still there. Then after a short wait it was back onto the bamboo railway for the trip back to the start. We then were off to Prasat Bannon (also spelt Bannan) a temple with over three hundred steps from bottom to top. The stairs were steep and slippery in places so took our time as it was also very humid (nothing unusual). Once at the top there was some awesome views and after hlaf a hour or so headed back down. Our next stop was at a small winery to sample some local fair, it was not very good to say the least. On the way back to the town we passed a mountain and watched small fruit bats head out at for dinner, we stayed for about half an hour and the bats still kept coming out of their cave must have been a 7 or 8 hundred thousand at least. Once back into the city we were once again free to explore and try a different place for dinner. We finished off with a drink at a bar nearby our hotel and settled for and earlyish night.
