26/12/09 - day 17.

got up around 9, free breakfast, still hungry, bought breakfast. straight to the beach as was fast becoming standard procedure. i may be giving the impression santa teresa has nothing else to offer but this isnt the case. you can get surf lessons, hire quad bikes, go to neighbouring beaches, go on a boat trip, etc but i was very aware of my budget for this place which is the most expensive im gonna come across by a long way, i think!, on my trip. plus i was perfectly happy doing what i was doing.

felt like a particularly hot day and i couldnt actually lie in the sun for more than i about 20 mins without going into the sea or the shade.

thought my diet would benefit from a bit of variation of the healthy sort so i bought some apples and milk. shortly after consumption, a dash to the toilet was needed. this wasnt the benefit i had anticipated. i now realise i was a fool to try and eat healthily! wont be making that mistake again! so in light of this attempt at a bit of nutrition, i went out and got a pizza. chicken. i was goooooooooood.

went to bed around 9pm as i had to be up at 5ish in order to get the bus back to san jose, which i was DEFNITELY reliably informed by the lady who works at the hostel, leaves at "6am SHARP"!
