Well after one amazing month in Thailand the time had come to leave....our visas were coming to a end and we had to get out b4 we were chased out.....The next destination was Malaysia .....we decided to go straight to the capital city that is of course Kuala Lumper! After a 10hour coach ride and rich nearly squareing up to a 8yr old.....we finally reached our destinaltion around 5am....however B-coz were on a budget we refused to pay 4 a nights accomodation.....so we dumped our stuff off at the hostel and sed we wod return wen we could book in for the next day...which was luckily only a hour later. Sooooooo your proberly all wondering where wod u go...in a city u've never visited before...full of mysterious building....well we headed to the only place that we knew......MCDONALDS!!!! and got a mc Muffin which was delicious!!!!! Once we had wasted a hour in there ...we were both pretty tired so decided to head bak to our hostel. When we arrived we found out there was no beds free in the mixed dorm so for the first time in 4weeks we went our seperate ways...i went into the galys dorm...where no men where allowed...and rich went into the boys! Was quite funny thinking about it now....we both really wanted a wash but because everyone else in the dorm was sleeping...you codnt really....overwise uld wake everyone up!! so i just climbed on the top bunk and slept in the clothes ild been wearing for the last day and half.....very hygeanic ey!!! After a few hours sleep decided to get out of bed and go for a well desrved shower.....it was a comunal shower...however it was good...the water was hot and the door locked! before we headed out the manager sorted us out 2 beds in the mixed dorm...and also where the air-con worked!!! yaaay! We had decided that we were only gna spend one night there....so we wanted to ft in as much as possible! The day was soooooo hot aswell...so we had to keep topoing up with the old water when we were out and about. The thing we both noticed pretty much straight away was how different Malysia is to thailand......the most obvious being that malaysia is much more devloped...and its been rare to see people on the streets and suprizingly no stray dogs!!!!! We dint have a map...however with direction dan on the case we never need a map...all in my head i tell ya.....and plus the tourist attractions were all skyscrapers so it wasnt really hard to find them!!!! The 1st tourist attraction we went to was The Twin towers...an amazing site!!! unfortunatly we decided to visit the only day they were closed...how typical hey!!!! neway that dint worry us to much as our next stop was the 4th highest telecommunications tower in the world......the structure and how it was made is amazing....even more sooo the amazing view from the top......it was a clear day so we could literally see for miles and miles. As it was a hot day....our poor little legs were very tierd...so we decided to bargain our way to tourist attraction numero 3 with the taximan.....which was the lakes and gardens. But first he took us to the biggest indoor bird sanctury......afta checking out the prices we realised we didnt have enough money and started to move on to the gardens.....buit before we reached there the heavens decided to open...so we took cover with the locals..who pulled up two chairs for us.....how very nice of them !!!! Once the rain had stopped we got back on our feet and started on the walk to find the gardens! It was worth the walk...the gardens and lakes were beautiful.....its willen lake with alot more scenary and nature....and a tramp who was hopeing to find his dinner! After a scenic walk we decided that it was getting late so we best start heading back......on the way back we passed some big temple.....it must have been prayer time as he was singing......and the whole city knew about it......it was well load!!!! The temple was amazing tho.....and we just sat down for a couple mins watching the sun go down, but nothing lasts forever and before we knew it it was lashing down once again.......never mind!! After a good hour of walkin we finally reached the road where we were staying.....and saw wat seemed soo fantastic...and smelt like chicken...it was of course NANDOS!!!! yaaaay!!!! we decided weld had enough of noodles and rice for a night and decided to treat ourselves...and wata good yummy treat it was......as we got free refills.....wat more do u want!!!! Got back to the hostel around 8ish...and decided to have a few bevvys on a the roof terrace to finish the day off. The night wasnt as bad as i fought it would be....the bed was quite comfy and we dint have any smelly people arrive that slept in the dorm soo we both ended up having a very nice sleep...although we were both bitted pretty bad. We got up pretty early the next day as we had to sort out tranportation to port d*** on....we could get there by using the local bus service....so we were well up for that as it was cheap and alot more fun! So after eating in a food market we headed to the wrong bus station and was pointed to the over one across town.....after what seemed forever we were told the right bus we were sposed to get ...and he said held wait 15mins ...so we could get our bags!!! weve never walked sooo fast before.....on the way back to the bus stop....backpack on...rushing like nutters... both sweating like goodens...some wally asked me if i wanted a foot massage...and started showing me some diagrams of the foot.....lol wally indeed!!! neway we made it to the bus......and that was the adventure of K.L over ..............Amazing city and one alot of people would enjoy....but after seeing a few citys....its true there all pretty much the same......Over and Out!!!!!!
