Finally- a doulble room!!!!!! Managed to get a motel style room for the same price we'd been paying for hostel dorms!! Havnt been in a double for ages- since november in fact!! We had been in Byron Bay for a few days and were told that the 'Grasshopper' tour to Nimbin was the best way to see the small town. We paid up $35 each and got picked up 10am in the Morning from our hostel 'Aquarius'. The guide was pretty cool but we did have 10 language students who didnt shut up speaking german very annoying. Hi there, finally left Brisbane and arrived in Surfers Paradise on the sunny Gold Coast. Hammered down with rain throughout the journey from Brisbane but luckily when we arrived in Surfers it was beautiful. Courtesy Bus from Noosa picked us up at 08:30am and it was one of the hottest days of the year around 38Degrees...a right scorcher CRIKEY!! The bus played video's of 'Steve Irwin' and really got everyone in the mood for seeing the Crocs.
