Hey everyone......we had a wierd time on Kuta Beach,Bali. We arrived late in the evening on the 27th and thanks to Sarah Todd(Ria's friend) we were booked in for the New Arena Hotel 2mins from the beach front it was a notch above anything we've been staying at and a hell of alot cheaper about 7pound a night with TV,A/C and Balcony and a nice pool to swim.

We went out with sarah and Kate in the evening as they were only there 1 more night and we quickly got too drunk on 'Arak attack' horrible stuff and a big hangover to go with it!! After they left we just wanted to recharge our batteries after weeks of travelling with a tour group so we spent the days at the pool and beach. The beach was awesome with massive waves which Ben enjoyed body boarding!! Then things started going downhill Ben got a ear infection and was ill for the next week and he also picked up the flu which he gratefully passed to Ria so we made the best of the situation and rented a DVD player and bought some cheap movies 50p a dvd and pretty much watched everything thats just been released in the cinema. en was gutted he couldn't learn to surf but Ria made up for it by walking around the shops buying some cheap clothes.

We ate really well all week as everything is so cheap so 3 meals a day went down well. We also watched Wales vs Aus rugby in a bar with a few welsh and aus fans that was a great match and we watched all the football!!

All in all it was a relaxing 2 weeks of sun,sand,drink and food the weather was beautiful everyday no clouds in the sky just brilliant blue sky's and it was suppose to be 'rainy season'???........so off to Cairns, Australia next!! Speak to you all soon love Ria and Benxxx
