Day 59 - Mekong Delta - Floating Market

This morning we headed on a boat trip to visit the floating market where farmers would bring their produce on boats. You could identify what the stall boats were selling because each boat had a long bamboo stick with their produce tied at the top (e.g. cabbage, bananas, pineapple).
We visited a village where we had a look at how the rice noodle paper was made - the rice is cooked and mashed into a paste, steamed, rolled into thing pieces and laid out on bamboo mats to dry in the sun.
After the village we were back on the bus for the long ride back to Lan Lan 1 Hotel in Saigon.
